It is intended for industrial, defense, and military applications. The unit is built around Diamond Systems' EPS-24G4X board-level switch, which is itself based on the EPSM-10GX4 switch module. The SabreNet- 24000 runs Vitesse/Microsemi Istax Layer 3 routing/switching embedded software and is packaged in a sealed, rugged enclosure with military- grade connectors.
