The OnTime Networks CM-4012 MIL Series is a ruggedized, fully managed Layer 2+ Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for ground combat vehicle and shipboard applications. It provides 12 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports via three Mighty Mouse 37-pin connectors in a compact aluminum enclosure measuring 149 x 95 x 45 mm and weighing 930 grams. The CM-4012 is specifically engineered for operation in harsh climatically and electrically demanding environments including extreme shock, vibration, wide temperatures, humidity, dust, water exposure, noisy EMI, and dirty power. It is qualified to -55C to +85C storage temperature, -40C to +71C operational temperature, and 85,000 ft altitude. An optional 250ms power hold-up capability is available. The switch features IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) Transparent Clock (TC) with PTP version translation (v1/v2) and an integrated NTP server. It supports data zeroization, enhanced watchdog features, and is COTS with no export restrictions. Selected programs include the Canadian Armoured Combat Support Vehicle (ACSV) for General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada.
