Detailed Specifications
| The MilDef MSP163 is an ultra-compact, fully rugged 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for soldier-worn, backpack, and drone- mounted applications where extreme size, weight, and power (SWaP) constraints are critical. Described as "Gigabit switching in the palm of your hand," the MSP163 fits in one hand, weighs just 200 grams, and consumes only 5 watts. The unit features ruggedized ODU circular connectors, passive (fanless) cooling, and full MIL-STD-810H environmental compliance covering shock, vibration (wheeled vehicle, tracked vehicle, helicopter, and loose cargo), temperature extremes, humidity, salt fog, and altitude. EMC compliance is per MIL-STD-461F covering conducted and radiated emissions and susceptibility. MilDef products are operationally proven and actively deployed in military operations in over 60 countries. MilDef guarantees spare part availability for 5 years after product end-of-life.
