It provides 24 x 1GbE copper ports and 4 x 10GbE SFP+ uplink ports, with IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) support for time-sensitive applications. Built on Kontron's proven Ethernet switch silicon and management software, the RES2404-PTP delivers high-performance non-blocking switching with full IPv6 support, SNMP/CLI/web management, and optional fanless operation. It is available in two variants: the base RES2404-AC-PTP and the RES2404-AC-PTP-PoE, which adds Power over Ethernet on all 24 copper ports.
