Detailed Specifications

detailed descriptionThe Curtiss-Wright Parvus DuraNET 20-11 is an ultra-small form factor (SFF), fully sealed, rugged Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) 8-port Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switch. It is a managed Layer 2+ Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) optimized for extremely demanding size, weight, and power (SWaP) and cost (SWaP-C) constrained vehicle and aircraft platforms exposed to harsh environmental and noisy electrical conditions. The unit is described as "pocket-sized," fitting approximately 10 cubic inches of volume and weighing less than 0.50 lbs. It is designed for both military and civil aircraft use as well as ground vehicle installations. The DuraNET 20-11 brings out all signals (Ethernet, power, console, and zeroize) over micro-miniature MIL circular connectors, making it well suited for low-SWaP applications with demanding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements. For applications requiring shielded Quadrax connectivity in a similar form factor, the related DuraNET 20-12 model is available.
